Cheap Computer RAM to Increase Effectiveness

Different RAM types. From top to bottom: DIP, ...

The main utility of the Computer RAM is to provide fast accessibility to your CPU to access the data on the computer. People who are not very computer friendly and just want to use the computer for the basics do not want to invest much in the machines, as a result they invest in cheap computers. On the face of it this might seem to be a very good deal but gradually when they start using the computer they realize that the system takes very long to load the applications and also freezes very often. One can tackle the situation very easily by investing in cheap computer RAM, however it has to be understood that cheap does not mean counterfeit or anything that would compromise on the functionality and the effectiveness of the device. It has to perform all the functions effectively and help in running the system efficiently as well.

Again if people are not very knowledgeable about the hardware aspect of the computer, they might still question the utility of additional Computer RAM and would still prefer to invest in a better video card or a bigger hard drive. But it has to be borne in mind that the function of Computer RAM is to provide the temporary data easily to the computer. This means that the data that is used by the system to do the work is readily made available to it by RAM. Since the data is easily accessible therefore the computer does not have to access the CPU to retrieve data. This leads to faster execution of command and reduced load on the CPU.

However; how much Computer RAM is enough? And how much of it is required? Now to understand the depth of this one has to easily evaluate the kind of applications that one is going to use in the system. If the computer has been purchased to do the basics and to access internet then the requirements are different than when the computer is to be used for specialized 3D animation packages etc. The minimum requirements of computer memory have been changed with the launch of Windows 7 in the year 2009. With the 32 bit of Windows 7 one requires 1GB of memory and with 64 bit you require 2 GB. If you happen to purchase an assembled computer then you can easily supplement the already existing memory with Cheap Computer RAM to increase its effectiveness, but again a word of caution. you have to be very cautious in your purchase; as spurious deals can do more harm than good to your system.
